WHAT IS
*INFINITE FORM?
Journalism has gone through a major transformation in recent years, challenged by the rise of social media and marketing as core drivers of audience engagement. While the best journalism remains central to societies who care about and seek to preserve free speech and public accountability, the challenge from social media and hyper-short content has meant that traditional journalism has had to evolve.
Our platform bridges the gap between short and long form journalism, by introducing the idea of infinite form, reliant on the principle that history tells new chapters of stories over time. For each of our stories, we add to them as new facts, interpretations and nuances arise.
We will prioritise mobile first, transmedia story telling, taking you to the most prominent social platforms to discover and share what we reveal during the Olympic Games. We’ll also provide copy ready quotes from experts, offering new interpretations on existing stories for use in other platforms. Please attribute to ‘Games Time News’ when using any of our quotes.
